    Six things to get right on a flyer.

    Supply at finished size

    Artwork at the flyer size with 3mm bleed all round. An A5 is 148 × 210mm, so your document is 154 × 216mm. Let backgrounds run off the edge.

    Resolution

    300dpi at full size. Export from Canva as PDF Print, and use originals: no screenshots or WhatsApp images.

    Safe area

    Keep text, logos and borders at least 3mm inside the trim, 5mm if you can spare it.

    Two sides, one file

    Double sided? Send one PDF with two pages, front first, not two files called final and final2.

    Type size

    Keep type above 6pt. Below that it stops being small print and starts being a rumour.

    Flatten transparency

    Drop shadows and blend modes do strange things on press. Flatten before you export and what you see is what you get.

    What sizes of flyers and leaflets do you print?

    Five: A6 (105 × 148mm), A5 (148 × 210mm, our most ordered), A4 (210 × 297mm), DL (99 × 210mm, fits a standard envelope) and 148mm square. Something non-standard, die-cut or perforated is a quote job: email hello@rapidprintpro.com.

    Which paper stock should I choose?

    Handing them out: 150gsm silk. Want them kept: 250 or 350gsm. People need to write on it: uncoated. Eco is the message: 140gsm Bio Seaweed. All FSC-accredited.

    What's the difference between silk and uncoated?

    Silk is lightly coated: colours stay punchy and photos sharp. Uncoated has no coating: softer, more natural, slightly muted colour, and it takes a pen. Writing on it, go uncoated. Full-bleed photography, go silk.

    What quantities can I order, and how much are they?

    100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500 or 5,000, from £19. The cost per flyer drops sharply as the run grows, so check 500 against 1,000. More than 5,000? Ring 020 7078 0380.

    Portrait or landscape?

    Either, on every size. Pick it above so we know which way up your artwork goes.

    Can I get my leaflets folded?

    Yes, on folded leaflets: half fold, C-fold or Z-fold, same stocks, same 3pm cutoff, and they arrive folded.

    Can I use Canva artwork?

    Yes. Set the canvas to the flyer size before you design, export as PDF Print, and tick crop marks and bleed if offered. Our artwork team fixes or flags anything before it prints.

    Is there VAT on flyers?

    No. Printed flyers and leaflets are zero-rated in the UK, so the price you see is the price you pay. Delivery is charged separately.

    When will I get them?

    Order by 3pm, Monday to Friday, and they're printed the same day. Then:
