Your window. Working for you.

Static clings and printed vinyl, cut to shape on our Summa cutter. Any size up to 300 Γ— 120cm. Order by 3pm and it's up tonight.

Static cling

No glue. Move it anytime.

Cling holds on by static. Peel it off, put it back, keep it for next Christmas. It leaves nothing on the glass.

Printed and cut

We cut on your line. To the millimetre.

CutContour Β· spot colour Β· Summa

Draw your cut line as a CutContour spot colour and our Summa reads it and cuts round your shape. No line? Make one free further down this page.

Weeded and taped

Lettering, ready to apply.

Cut

We pick out the vinyl you don't want and lay transfer tape over the top, so every letter goes on the glass in one piece, spaced exactly as you designed it.

Inside or outside

Stuck inside. Read from the street.

Graphics on the inside of the glass stay clean and out of reach. We print them mirrored, so they read the right way round from outside. Just tell us which side.

The biggest ad you already pay rent on.

Your window is the one sign everybody walking past reads. A cling for this week's offer, your opening hours in vinyl, a logo cut to shape: it costs less than a day's flyering and works every hour you're open, and the ones you're not.

We print on white static cling or white self-adhesive vinyl, any size you type up to 300 Γ— 120cm, then cut round your shape on our Summa cutter. For lettering, we weed out the waste and lay transfer tape over it, so it goes up in one piece.

    Two materials

Cling or vinyl? Depends how long.

Both are white, printed full colour and cut to shape. The difference is how they hold on.

No glueWhite static clingHolds on by static. Peel it off and put it back as often as you like, then roll it up for next year. Leaves nothing on the glass. For offers, events and seasonal graphics.
Self-adhesiveWhite vinylSticks properly and stays put for years. Comes off with a little heat when you're done. For your name, opening hours, logos and anything permanent.
    Four finishes

A rectangle, a shape, or just the letters.

Straight edges need nothing extra. Anything cut to shape is cut on our Summa round your CutContour line. Lettering needs one more step.

SimplestPrinted with straight edgesA printed rectangle, trimmed square. No cut line needed. Right for posters on the glass, offers and anything with a background colour to the edge.
Cut to shapePrinted and cutEach shape is cut through the vinyl but not the backing. You peel it off and stick it up. Right for badges, logos, solid shapes and anything with a white border.

Six things to get right on a window graphic.

    Send a vector PDF

Export from Illustrator, InDesign, Affinity or CorelDRAW as a PDF, at the finished size. Keep the cut line as a vector path. A flattened image can't be cut. No cut line? Make one with the free tool on this page.

    The cut line

One closed path round each shape, stroke only, 0.25pt, no fill. Make a spot colour swatch named exactly CutContour (one word, capital C twice), 100% magenta, and set the stroke to it with overprint on. Put it on its own top layer.

    White border and bleed

Keep a 2mm gap between your design and the cut line, or run your background 2mm past it. Keep text 3mm inside the line.

    Weeded lettering

Letters at least 10mm tall with strokes at least 1mm thick. Anything finer, email us first and we'll quote it.

    Keep it smooth

No tiny zigzags or corners tighter than 1mm, and at least 3mm between separate shapes. Don't add crop or registration marks: we add the cutter's own.

    Resolution and colour

150dpi at full size is plenty for a window. CMYK is safest. We print on white media, so any white in your design stays white.

    Cut lettering files

Send a vector PDF with the letters as outlines, at the finished size. Or pick β€˜please draw it for me’ and email the words and the font: we'll set it up for Β£10.

    Full artwork specs

    Questions.

    What sizes can I get?

Any size from 5cm up to 300 Γ— 120cm. The long side can be up to 3 metres, the other up to 120cm, which is the width of our roll. Type your finished width and height in cm at the top, or tap A4, A3, A2, A1, a door panel or a full strip. Bigger than that? We'll print it in panels: email hello@rapidprintpro.com with the measurements.

    How is it priced?

A set-up charge for each order line (from Β£20), then a price per square metre for the size you type. That's why one A4 costs more per square metre than a whole window, and why more of the same design gets cheaper each. The price box at the top always shows the live price.

    Cling or vinyl?

Cling if you'll move it, take it down or reuse it: offers, opening hours, seasonal graphics. Vinyl if it's staying put: your name, logo or hours for the long run. Cling is about 13% cheaper per square metre.

What does weeded and taped mean?

For lettering and logos with gaps. We cut it, pick out all the vinyl you don't want, and lay transfer tape over the top. You press it onto the glass, peel the tape, and every letter stays exactly where it should. It's 40% more per square metre than printed and cut, and vinyl only: cling can't be weeded.

    What's cut white lettering?

No printing: your words or logo cut from white vinyl, weeded and taped, ready to go on the glass. The classic for opening hours, your name and phone number. Letters at least 10mm tall.

Do I need a CutContour line?

Not for straight edges. For anything cut to shape, yes, or tick β€˜please draw it for me’ (Β£10 per order line). Or make one free with the tool on this page: drop in a PDF, PNG or JPG, download the PDF, upload it at the top.

    Inside or outside the glass?

Inside keeps it clean, out of the rain and out of reach. Tell us at the top and we'll print it mirrored, so it reads the right way round from the street. Outside is fine for vinyl in a sheltered spot.

    Can you print on clear?

We print on white cling and white vinyl as standard: colours stay bright and solid in daylight. If you need a clear film look, email us and we'll talk it through.

How do I put cling up?

Clean the glass, mist it lightly with water, lay the cling on and smooth it from the middle out with a card. To move it, peel it off and do it again.

How do I put vinyl up?

Clean the glass with a little alcohol. Peel the backing (or the transfer tape's backing), line it up, and press it on from the middle out with a squeegee or card. For weeded lettering, then peel the tape away slowly, back on itself.

How quickly can I get it?

Order by 3pm, Monday to Friday, and it's printed and cut the same day. Weeded and taped orders over 10 take until the next working day. Collect free from SE1, courier across London today, or DPD next working day.

    Are prices ex VAT?

Yes. 20% VAT is added at checkout. The price box at the top shows both, plus the delivery you've picked.
