We accept PDF, PNG, JPEG and TIFF. PDF is our preferred format for the cleanest results. Maximum upload size is 1GB.
Here's a quick checklist before you upload:
- Resolution: minimum 150dpi — we recommend 300dpi for crisp results
- Colour mode: set to CMYK (not RGB)
- Bleed: add bleed space to avoid unprinted borders
- Format: PDF, PNG or JPEG
Bleed is the extra area beyond your design's edge that gets trimmed off — it stops white borders appearing on the final print. Safe margin is the zone inside the edge where important content (text, logos) should sit. Not sure what to allow? Chat with our team and we'll guide you through it.
If you use our templates the spine width is calculated automatically. If you're uploading your own design, allow 0.135mm per leaf (one double-sided page = 2pp). So a 32pp booklet needs a 2.16mm spine. We have a spine width calculator in the system to help too.
