Business Cards

Two ranges • one 3pm cutoff

Which range is yours?

Everything we print is 85 × 55mm, full colour, single or double sided, and out the door the same day. The only real decision is whether you want the classic premium finish or a card where the material itself is the message.

  • 400gsm Brown Kraft — thick and textured
  • 400gsm Off White Textured — understated and tactile

Eco business cards on recycled coffee cup, kraft and Notpla seaweed stock, printed in London
When the material is the point
Eco Business Cards
From £55 · 100 to 1,000

Cards made from things that were something else first — coffee cups saved from landfill, and seaweed. They look and feel different on purpose, and they start a conversation before anyone reads a word.

  • 400gsm Recycled Coffee Cup — off-white, great texture
  • 350gsm Bio Seaweed — Notpla, fully biodegradable
  • 400gsm Brown Kraft — thick, natural, black-ink led
  • No lamination — nothing to stop it breaking down
Six stocks • two products

Every card we print.

Six stocks across the two ranges. The honest version of what each one does — including which ones don’t like colour, because that’s the thing nobody tells you until the cards arrive.

400gsmStandard
Recycled Silk

A smooth silk coating that makes colour pop and keeps photos crisp. The only stock here that handles full-colour photography properly, and the one we’d point most people to.

400gsmStandard
Off White Textured

A natural tactile texture you feel before you read it. Colour prints soft and matte, which flatters muted palettes and clean type rather than fighting them.

FinishUpgrade
Soft Touch Velvet

A velvet lamination over the Silk. Adds durability and scuff resistance and makes dark, minimal designs look expensive. It softens very bright colours slightly — usually in a good way.

400gsmBoth ranges
Brown Kraft

Super thick with a proper texture. Stick to black ink — CMYK laid over a brown surface distorts, but blacks come out true and punchy. Design for that and it’s superb.

400gsmEco
Recycled Coffee Cup

Disposable coffee cups headed for landfill, turned into paper. Slightly off-white with a lovely texture, and unusually for a recycled stock, colours come out punchy.

350gsmEco
Bio Seaweed

Notpla seaweed paper — 30% seaweed, 60% post-consumer waste, completely biodegradable and recyclable. Grey with green and brown flecks. Black-only designs look sensational on it.

One rule worth remembering: Kraft and Seaweed are coloured stocks, so ink sits on top of a tint rather than white. Design in black and they look brilliant. Want full-colour photography? Recycled Silk every time.
No designer • no software • no brief

No artwork? Start with a template.

Most people who need cards today have no artwork and no designer. So pick a design, edit it in your browser, drop in your name, number and logo, and order it. Ten minutes start to finish — and it still makes the 3pm cutoff.

Step one

Pick a design. All 85 × 55mm and already set up properly — bleed, safe margins, the lot.

Step two

Edit it online in the browser. Your details, your colours, your logo. Nothing to download.

Step three

Order it. A human still checks the file before it prints, same as uploaded artwork.

Templates start at £39 and print on the same 400gsm stocks as everything else.

Why people come back

No drama, no surprises.

A human checks every file

Adobe, Canva, Paint — we don’t judge. Our artwork team re-sets every file and tells you before anything prints if something needs fixing. Low res logo, no bleed, text on the trim: we catch it.

400gsm, not 300

There is no flimsy option to accidentally pick. Every card on both ranges is 350–400gsm, so whatever you choose feels like it cost more than it did.

FSC paper throughout

Only FSC-accredited paper from responsibly managed forests — on the standard range as well as the eco one. Good print, clear conscience, and no reprint charge if we get it wrong.

Business card FAQs

Here. We print, trim and pack at 27 Tabard Street, London SE1 4LA, two minutes from Borough tube.
  • Order before 3pm and collect the same day, usually in about 2 hours — free
  • Or take same day delivery across London from £45, about 90 minutes
We email an exact collection time straight after you order. Cutting it fine on a big run? Email hello@rapidprintpro.com before you order and we’ll confirm.
Standard cards from £39, eco cards from £55, both for 100 cards. Quantities run 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 1,000.
  • The jump from 100 to 500 is smaller than most people expect, because the setup cost is identical either way. Check both before you decide.
  • Eco costs more because the materials genuinely cost more — seaweed paper and recycled coffee cup stock aren’t commodity board.
Pick your options on Business Cards or Eco Business Cards and the price updates instantly. No quote form.
85 × 55mm — the UK standard, and roughly credit card size. Every card on both ranges is this size.
  • With bleed: set your document to 91 × 61mm
  • Keep text 3mm inside the 85 × 55mm trim
The size isn’t carved in stone — square, mini and oversized cards are all possible as bespoke work. Just remember a card that won’t fit a wallet is a card that gets left behind.
Both are premium, both are FSC paper, both hit the same 3pm cutoff. The difference is what the card is made of and what it says about you.
  • Standard (from £39) — Recycled Silk, Off White Textured or Brown Kraft, with optional soft touch velvet. The best choice for colour and photography.
  • Eco (from £55) — Recycled Coffee Cup, Notpla Seaweed or Brown Kraft. No lamination, because nothing should stop it breaking down. The material is the message.
Brown Kraft appears on both, which is why you may see it twice at two prices.
Yes, and specifically rather than vaguely:
  • Recycled Coffee Cup — made from disposable paper coffee cups that were heading to landfill. Slightly off-white, lovely texture.
  • Bio Seaweed — Notpla paper, 30% seaweed and 60% post-consumer waste, completely biodegradable and recyclable.
  • Brown Kraft — thick, natural, unbleached.
None of the eco stocks are laminated, because a plastic film would defeat the point. That’s a deliberate choice, not an omission.
The single thing worth knowing: Kraft and Seaweed are coloured stocks, so ink lands on a tint rather than on white.
  • Full-colour photography or bright branding → 400gsm Recycled Silk, every time
  • Black-led or minimal branding → Kraft, Seaweed or Off White Textured — blacks come out true and punchy
  • Want it to feel expensive → Silk with soft touch velvet
  • Want it to feel handmade → Coffee Cup or Seaweed
Design a full-colour photo onto brown Kraft and it will look muddy. That’s the stock, not the printing — so design for it and it’s superb.
Three options, and none of them need design software:
  • Start with a template — pick one of our designs and edit it in your browser. Your details, your logo, done in about ten minutes.
  • Design it free online from scratch using the tool on the product page.
  • Let us design it — email hello@rapidprintpro.com and tell us what you’re after.
Whichever you use, a real person still checks the file before it prints.
Bleed: only if your design runs to the edge. If a background colour or image touches the card edge, add 3mm all round and supply at 91 × 61mm. Design sitting inside a white border? You don’t need it.
  • Crop marks aren’t required — welcome if placed correctly, outside the bleed and never inside the finished size
  • Thin borders are the riskiest thing on a card. Cards are cut in stacks, stacks move fractionally, and a frame on the trim shows it
Honestly though — upload what you have. Our artwork team sorts it, and they’d only be bored otherwise.
Yes, but not from the product pages — these are bespoke jobs, priced individually.
  • Rounded corners — all four, or just two opposing ones
  • Die-cut shapes — circles, squares, lozenges, or cut to follow your graphic
  • Spot UV varnish — gloss on selected areas against a matt card. A varnished logo catching the light is the most premium thing you can do to a card.
  • Matt and gloss lamination, plus tinted, linen and laid stocks
Email hello@rapidprintpro.com and flag your deadline — bespoke finishing takes longer than the 3pm cutoff.
